Due to an internal career switch of the current Manager there is a vacancy for a Manager EMEA Customer Services Group, who will hierarchical responsible for the team in the Netherlands and functionally responsible for the (smaller) teams in Italy and Spain.

The mission of this position is to identify, address and implement organizational, workflow and JDE improvements to ensure optimal customer service in the EMEA region regarding Order Processing, Sales Support and Billing.

The most important accountabilities for this role will be:

• continuously evaluate the sales support processes in the EMEA region, identifying needs and recommend improvements amongst others by constantly encouraging and evaluating opportunities and customer feedback to ensure ‘the voice of the customer’ is heard, and timely actions and solutions are implemented;
• discuss the support level and changes/ improvements therein with business and sales managers and co-ordinate the implementation thereof in the EMEA region;
• initiate and coordinate the improvements in the supporting systems (e-invoicing JDE);
• responsible for compliance of the sales support process with SOX over the EMEA region;
• determine EMEA sales support indicators and measure and report the actual performance against these indicator;
• initiate improvement programs to increase efficiency and effectiveness and decrease cost;
• leading in the development of people in the department (16 co-workers in the Netherlands) through appraisals, goals setting and motivation of co-workers and creating a team environment.

This vacancy exists as a consequence of an internal career step of the current Manager, who was responsible for the BV (Netherlands) region. A change has been made in the job as it is now focused on the EMEA region. Therefore the Manager will have a broader scope of responsibilities as well as a larger team to manage.

The Manager EMEA Customer Services Group will report directly to the Director Global Operations and EMEA.

For this position we would like to get in touch with candidates who have a degree for a four-year college or university and have sufficient, relevant (at least five years) management experience, preferably in a result-driven, manufacturing matrix organisation. You have strong management and leadership skills and you are familiar with the budgeting and forecasting process.

Besides excellent analytical and communication skills, especially in the written and spoken English language (another European language is an asset), you have a strong customer focus. Furthermore, you have a very strong business sense, persuasive skills and you are result driven. You have a pro-active personality and possess excellent conceptual skills. You are a natural team player, have a strong focus on improvement and you are able to build cross functional relationships.
